The short version: we collect the minimum we need to answer your enquiry, we never sell or share your details for marketing, the free tools don’t store what you paste into them, and there are no tracking cookies on this site.
raising water is a trading name of Omnium Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Omnium Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

Enquiry form. When you contact us we collect your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your business and what you need (including the optional business type, software spend, and timeline answers). We process this with your consent, given via the checkbox on the form, solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. We do not add you to any marketing list.
Free tools. Most of the free tools run entirely in your browser; nothing you type into them is sent to us or stored anywhere. Two tools (the Data Transformer and 'Just what you need') send the text you paste in to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the result, which is returned to you. We do not store those inputs or outputs in our systems. Please do not paste personal data about other people, or anything confidential, into those two tools.
IP addresses. We process IP addresses briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention across the site (our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and secure). Rate-limiting records expire automatically within 24 hours.
Cookies. This site sets a single strictly necessary cookie, used only to keep the site administrator signed in to the admin area. It is not set for ordinary visitors and is not used for tracking. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie banner.
We use a small number of service providers to run this site, each acting under a data processing agreement:
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK, the transfer is protected by UK-approved safeguards: the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or standard contractual clauses incorporating the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Enquiries: we keep your enquiry details for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, so we can pick the conversation back up if you return. After that they are deleted. If you become a client, contract records are kept as required by law.
Rate-limiting data: deleted automatically within 24 hours.
Tool inputs: not stored by us.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (which won't affect processing that happened before you withdrew it).
To exercise any of these rights, email general@omnium-uk.com. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged clearly on the site.
